Posting to Profile Feed

March 23, 2011
Edited and updated to add the following:

Caitlin Tobias, who is a regular blogger, photographer and profile feed poster, has a blog post with detailed instructions and pictures on how to take pictures and post them to  https://my.secondlife.com/ here:

I highly recommend you check that post out.  Anyway, on with our regularly scheduled programming...

March 20, 2011

It requires using a Viewer with that functionality.  Second Life Viewer 3.0, Firestorm 4.0, Catznip, Dolphin and Exodus are all enabled with Snapshot-to-Feed functionality.

Some Viewers have the camera Snapshot button on the left or the bottom of the screen.  Post to "Profile" if you want it to go to your Feed.  Don't forget the Caption and to consider whether you want to post your Location with the pic.  (You can uncheck Location.)

Oops.  That's the Inventory button.  One over.  The one that looks like a camera.

Note there is a refresh button if you want to redo the pic.
